Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter
The promoter is Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services, operated by Peter Wilson.

2. Promotion period
The prize draw opens at 02:00pm on 1st October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on 31 December 2026.
Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
The draw will take place on 2 January 2027.
3. Who can enter
The prize draw is open to people aged 18 or over who:
- live in Northern Ireland;
- own, or are authorised to arrange servicing for, an eligible caravan or motorhome;
- can have the work completed within Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services’ normal service area; and
- meet the vehicle and booking requirements set out in these terms.
Employees, immediate family members of the promoter and anyone directly involved in organising or administering the draw may not enter.
4. Eligible vehicles and services
The prize applies to one of the following:
- a standard caravan service; or
- a standard motorhome habitation check.
The vehicle and service must be accepted by Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services under its normal booking requirements.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services does not accept:
- vehicles more than 20 years old;
- DIY or self-built conversions; or
- horseboxes.
The promoter may ask for information about the vehicle before accepting an entry or confirming the prize.
5. Entering by making an online booking
To enter through the booking route, entrants must:
- Make a qualifying 2027 caravan service or motorhome habitation-check booking through the Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services online booking system at https://book.thornhillservices.co.uk/
- Pay the required £50 booking deposit.
- Complete the booking before 11:59pm on 31 December 2026.
The £50 deposit secures the booking and is deducted from the customer’s final bill in the usual way.
Bookings made by telephone, text message, email, Facebook Messenger or any method other than the online booking system will not qualify for automatic entry.
An entry is only valid once the online booking and deposit have both been successfully received.
If a booking is cancelled before the prize draw, its associated entry will be removed. If Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services cannot accept the booking, the entry will not be included.
6. Free postal entry
No purchase is necessary.
To enter without making a booking or paying a deposit, send a postcard or letter containing:
- your full name;
- your postal address;
- your email address;
- your telephone number;
- your vehicle registration number;
- the make, model and age of the vehicle;
- whether you wish to enter for a caravan service or motorhome habitation check;
- the postcode where the service would take place; and
- the statement: “I confirm that I am aged 18 or over and agree to the 2027 Free Service Prize Draw Terms and Conditions.”

Postal entries must arrive before 11:59pm on 31 December 2026. Entries posted before the deadline but received after it will not be accepted.
The promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, damaged, incorrectly addressed or not delivered.
Postal entrants will be treated equally in the prize draw and will have the same chance of winning as entrants using the booking route.
7. Entry limit
Only one entry per person is permitted, regardless of whether the person enters through an online booking or by post.
Anyone attempting to enter more than once, use multiple identities or submit incomplete or misleading information may be disqualified.
No automated, bulk, third-party or trade entries are permitted.
8. The prize
There is one prize.
The winner may choose one of the following:
- one standard caravan service; or
- one standard motorhome habitation check.
The prize covers the promoter’s labour for the standard service or habitation check only.
The prize does not include:
- replacement parts;
- consumable items normally charged separately;
- repairs;
- remedial work;
- additional or non-standard work;
- work requested outside the normal service or habitation check;
- charges arising from inaccurate vehicle information; or
- any other cost not expressly included in these terms.
Any additional work or parts must be approved and paid for separately by the winner.
If the winner entered by making an online booking, the £50 deposit paid for the winning booking will be refunded.
If the winner entered by post, no payment or deposit will be required for the standard prize work.
The prize must be used during 2027 on a date agreed with Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services and is subject to appointment availability.
The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and has no cash alternative.
9. The draw
All valid entries will be checked and placed into one combined draw.
Each valid entrant will be assigned a unique number. The winning number will be selected using a verifiably random method.
The draw will take place on 2 January 2027 and will be conducted or supervised by someone independent of the promotion.
The promoter may broadcast or record the draw on the Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services Facebook page. A technical issue preventing a live broadcast will not invalidate an otherwise properly conducted draw.
10. Winner notification
The winner will be contacted using the telephone number or email address supplied with their entry.
The promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner within two working days of the draw.
The winner must respond within 14 days and may be asked to provide:
- proof of identity and age;
- proof that they own or are authorised to arrange work on the vehicle;
- vehicle details;
- the intended service location; and
- any information reasonably required to confirm eligibility.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 14 days, provides incorrect information or is found to be ineligible, the promoter may withdraw the prize and select another winner using the same random process.
11. Winner announcement
The promoter may announce the winner’s surname and general area, for example their town or county.
The winner may object to their details being published or ask for the amount of information published to be reduced. This will not affect their right to receive the prize.
The promoter may still provide the winner’s details to the Advertising Standards Authority or another appropriate regulator if legally required.
The winner will not be photographed, filmed, tagged on social media or asked to provide a testimonial without separate agreement.
12. Booking terms
Winning the prize does not remove the requirement to comply with Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services’ normal booking, access, safety and vehicle-eligibility requirements.
The winner must provide accurate information about the vehicle and its location.
If the vehicle is materially different from the information supplied, presents a safety concern or falls outside the services normally offered by Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services, the promoter may refuse to carry out the work and may select an alternative winner.
13. Personal information
Personal information supplied for the prize draw will be used to:
- administer the promotion;
- verify entries;
- conduct the draw;
- contact the winner;
- arrange the prize; and
- comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
Entry information will not automatically be used for marketing unless the entrant has separately agreed to receive marketing communications.
Personal information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the draw and meet applicable legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.
14. Facebook disclaimer
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Meta.
By entering, entrants acknowledge that Facebook and Meta have no responsibility for the promotion.
Questions or complaints about the promotion should be directed to Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services and not to Facebook or Meta.
15. Disqualification
The promoter may reject or disqualify an entry if it reasonably believes that:
- the entrant has broken these terms;
- the entry contains false, incomplete or misleading information;
- the entrant has attempted to manipulate the promotion;
- the entry was generated automatically or submitted by a third party; or
- accepting the entry would breach the law or compromise the fair operation of the draw.
16. Changes or cancellation
The promoter will not change, suspend or cancel the promotion unless circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
If a change is required, the promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure entrants are not unfairly disadvantaged and will publish an update on the Thornhill Caravan & Motorhome Services website or Facebook page.
17. Liability
The promoter is not responsible for entries that are not received because of website faults, payment-system failures, postal delays, incorrect contact information or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.
18. Acceptance of these terms
By entering the prize draw, entrants confirm that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
A link to these terms should be made available during the online booking and deposit process.
19. Promoter’s decision
The promoter’s decision regarding eligibility, the administration of the draw and the awarding of the prize is final, subject to applicable law and regulatory requirements.
20. Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
Any dispute relating to the promotion will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
